Blog #3 Redefining the Everyday Trainer: Meet Orii Super T-One

ree

When I first started thinking about Orii, I wasn’t trying to reinvent running shoes or compete with the big brands. I just wanted a trainer I could actually enjoy wearing

every day.

If you run, you know the trade-off: trainers usually come with plenty of cushion and protection, but they feel heavy, sluggish, and honestly… not fun. They’re safe, but they don’t give you that spark that makes you want to lace up again tomorrow.

That’s where Orii: Super T-One comes in.

We designed it as an everyday trainer you’ll actually want to run in. Lightweight (225g for US size 9), cushioned with a 50mm TPU super foam midsole, and built with a full-length nylon plate for energy return and stability. It’s not flashy — but it makes running feel smooth, comfortable, and exciting again.

One of my favorite parts? The roomier toe box. I’ve always felt cramped in other trainers, especially on longer runs. Super T-One gives you that extra space so your feet can relax without losing support.

And because TPU foam is known for durability, this isn’t a shoe you’ll burn through after a couple of weeks. It balances bounce, comfort, and consistency in a way that makes daily training feel sustainable.

Now, let’s talk price. Performance shoes with plates almost always start above CAD $230. We’re launching Super T-One at CAD $175. Because Orii was never about hype — it’s about value, accessibility, and building something real for the running community.

Super T-One is now available for pre-order on our official website 👉 www.orii.run.

This is just the beginning. This is your ORIGIN.

A note from the Founding Committee

As a runner myself, I know what it feels like to drag yourself out of bed for early miles, to chase a PR, or to just run for the joy of it. Orii was born out of that experience, a reminder that running doesn’t have to be complicated.

Orii: isn’t about building the next mega-brand. It’s about creating a shoe we trust, sharing it with the community, and building connections one run at a time.
